What is Albedo?
The reflectance rate of a surface, indicating the amount of electromagnetic radiation reflected from the surface. It depends on the texture, color, and size of the object's surface. The highest albedo on Earth is found in sandy and snowy surfaces, while the lowest albedo is found in forested areas and plowed moist soils. It is synonymous with reflectivity.
